2013 Dodge Charger

2013 Dodge ChargerPonies. For some people, it’s all about the ponies. Of course, we mean horsepower, and where others fail, Dodge delivers. The 2013 Dodge Charger boasts a lot of ponies. Even the V6 throws down a massive 292 horsepower. This is even truer when you take into account that just a few years back, that number was respectable for a V8.

Technology has changed, and, even if you don’t particularly care about going “green,” Dodge has you covered. That 292 HP V6 we just mentioned is also very fuel efficient as it gets 31 MPG on the highway while producing very little emissions. Did we mention that it was powerful?

There is always a starting point. And, the 3.6 liter V6 is Dodge’s starting point. That is their baseline, and the ponies only go up from there. We would now like to introduce you to the 5.7 liter Hemi engine. Don’t get us wrong, 292 horsepower is great, but sometimes, you just need 370 horsepower. Some people just like to get where they are going a bit quicker. Once again, Dodge cares about the environment, so that 5.7 liter Hemi makes all that power while achieving a respectable 25 MPG on the highway.

As if 370 ponies weren’t enough, Dodge had to throw in the SRT Charger. Just in case you wanted to see what flying in an F-16 fighter jet was like, but would rather keep all four wheels on the ground. Dubbed the Super Bee® from days of old, this car is ready to sting. The Super Bee® is made for the enthusiast where 370 HP won’t do. Dodge doesn’t stop with the 470 HP V8 though; the entire car is race tuned–complete with 23 MPG on the highway.

One thing is for sure, Dodge wants you to get where you need to go in a quick and reliable way. The Charger is the car to get you there, while saving you some gas money in the process.
